I’m sorry I Love you aka MISA

I am quite easily to get emotional, so I tend to avoid sad shows. Around a year ago, I found this Korean drama online by chance and decided to give it a go after reading lots of good comments about it. “Mianhada, Saranghanda” is simply amazing! Indeed, I cried a lot for this tear-jerker. Though the first few episodes progressed in a rather slow pace, I am sure that anyone who continued watching this drama will be immensely captivated by the further developments of the characters and plots.

First and foremost, both of the leading male actors are really hot! So Ji Sup, performing the role of Cha Moo Hyuk, is cool and gorgeous, whilst Chai Yoon, starred by Jung Kyung Ho, is a mummy’s boy who always wears a charming smile on his face =) Surely, they are accompanied by another two pretty girls, Eun Chae and Ming Joo.

To me, there are a few unforgettable scenes in this drama. The encounters both Moo Hyuk and Eun Chae had in Melbourne with the background music of “Snow Flower” were still running in my mind. When Moo Hyuk first met Eun Chae and asked the helpless Eun Chae where was she from by using different languages and subsequently discovered that she was a Korean, Moo Hyuk’s smile at that time was just priceless! Another classic scene is that both of them hugged each other and lay at the street in a chilly night: can totally feel that loneliness spreads around the air and remains still; the only way they could lessen it and comfort each other was by using own body temperature to make another felt of his or her companionship . Probably, it is due to the fact that I was once studied overseas, additionally stranded alone in metropolitan cities before, thus I can completely understand the feeling of being lost and unsecured in an unfamiliar place. No doubt I am convinced that one has to sacrifice in gaining independence and perhaps I should just reckon optimistically that such experience was pretty thrilling, but I knew that at the bottom of my heart, I did wish that I could ever met people such as Moo Hyuk, who was willing to lend a helping hand.

Similarly, I am attracted by the scenes when Yoon reminisced his good old days with Eun Chae after realising his love towards this girl who has been holding a torch for him since their childhood days. Human beings always take things for granted and do not know how to cherish and treasure what you have already had, and Yoon inescapably made this common mistake too. Actually, I was quite doubtful whether Yoon was seriously in love with Eun Chae or not. It seems that, Yoon had found out that Eun Chae was a perfectly devoted and loyal soul mate and she has influenced his life to a very great extent till Yoon decided not to let her go from his life. This sounds selfish on Yoon, who had knowledge that Moo Hyuk was dying; But isn’t that love is selfish at most of the time?

I was totally mesmerised by the OST of this show till today, to wit, the “Snow Flower” and particularly “My Precious Person”, which sung by Yoon in the drama. Personally, I prefer Yoon’s version than the one in the original OST, as he sang in a very gentle manner and could just easily melt anyone, or maybe any girl’s heart =P Sigh, too bad for him, as he realised importance of Eun Chae in his life too late… My tears could just hysterically drop by listening to the OST, which reminded me of the touching storyline. Unbelievable?
In short, MISA is absolutely a not to be missed drama. One of the best Korean drama that I have ever seen and remains fabulous after passage of time!
